About Georgina
Hi, my name is Georgie! I am a soon-to-be graduate teacher with a passion for helping students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I specialize in music and humanities, but also enjoy supporting younger students in math and English. Teaching for me is about more than just content—it’s about building a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace.

My approach to tutoring is student-focused and flexible. I believe that every learner has their own strengths, challenges, and preferred ways of learning, so I adapt my lessons to meet individual needs. I combine clear explanations with practical activities, step-by-step modelling, and plenty of opportunities for guided practice. I also encourage students to reflect on their own learning so they can build independence and confidence.
Lessons are usually around 60 minutes, but I am happy to adjust depending on age, focus, and scheduling needs. Each session is structured to revisit prior learning, introduce new skills or content, and provide time for practice with feedback.
I am a soon-to-be graduate teacher, specialising in music and history, and have several years of experience working with children and young people in both school and tutoring settings.
I offer tutoring in:
Music (all levels – with a focus on reading, writing, and singing)
Humanities (all levels)
Maths and English (junior/primary level)
My lessons are suited for primary and secondary students who may need support to catch up, extend their knowledge, or prepare for assessments, as well as those who want to build confidence in their learning.
