Through my university studies and previous tutoring experiences, I have developed strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. My current studies in speech pathology have given me a particular interest in communication, language and learning, as well as an understanding of the importance of adapting communication to suit each individual’s needs and learning style.
I am patient, approachable and encouraging, and I understand that every student learns differently. I am also confident working independently and managing my time effectively, which I believe is particularly important in an online tutoring environment.

I’ve known Mackenna for a while now and she’s always been someone who’s patient, approachable and genuinely enjoys helping others understand things. She has a great way of explaining things without making you feel silly for not knowing the answer. I’d definitely recommend her for Biology tutoring, especially if you’re looking for someone who will take the time to make sure you actually understand the topic rather than just memorising it.
