About Allister
I began piano studies at the age of 3 and studied with Curtis graduates my whole life: Marcantonio Barone and Amy Yang. My parents are also Curtis graduates and made sure to check on my practicing. I majored in piano performance at the Vanderbilt Blair School of Music and studied with Craig Nies (also a Curtis graduate).

About the lesson

Every lesson will be started with scales and arpeggios. Next will be an etude dependent on skill level. To finish off we will work on two pieces, one of which is chosen by me and one of the student's choosing. We will work on quality of sound and touches, as well as phrasing and technique.
