About Jason
I grew up in an English-speaking home in Mayo, I attended an all-English speaking primary and secondary school. I can understand how people might struggle with the Irish language if they are not exposed to it enough in the correct way.
I love the language and helping others progress with the language is certainly a goal of mine. I want to ensure that I do my part in keeping ár dteanga dúchais alive!

I believe the best way to teach Irish is to offer a pressure and judgement free environment. A hybrid lesson of teaching in Irish and English should help the student feel more comfortable in speaking the language when they can.
As previously mentioned, my experience of teaching comes from teaching UL tutorial classes in poetry, history, mythology and folklore.
I hope to be able to help students of the Junior and Leaving Certificates, and Irish language students in University, but I am happy to help all!
