About Christie
I have been a teacher of English since 2011. I have always loved reading, but I discovered a passion for literature during my A Levels when studying Frankenstein for the first time. I really like teaching texts that debate society and what it means to be human.

I am an experienced classroom teacher in a secondary school, with over a decade’s experience of teaching a variety of abilities in Literature and Language at GCSE and A Level. I am also an examiner for AQA with in-depth knowledge about the requirements of the Language GCSE. I take a learner-centred approach, differentiating my tasks and feedback based on the needs of the learner.
