About Laura

Hola! My name is Laura, and I'm a native Spanish speaker, born and raised on the north coast of Spain. I came to the US for college, and it was helping one of my friends with their Spanish homework that I eventually got into tutoring. I've tutored Spanish for 4 years now, and I'm excited to share my passion for the language and culture with you. My approach focuses on interactive learning, ensuring that each lesson is engaging and tailored to your individual needs, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills. Let’s explore the beauty of the Spanish language together!

About the lesson

¡Hola! I’m excited to guide you on your Spanish learning journey! My teaching method combines a communicative approach with engaging activities, such as role-playing, games, and multimedia resources, making lessons dynamic and enjoyable. Each session begins with a review, followed by the introduction of new topics through discussions and exercises tailored to your interests and goals. What sets me apart is my commitment to personalization and my background as a native speaker, which enriches your understanding of the language within its cultural context. I offer lessons for students of all levels, whether you're a beginner wanting to grasp the basics or an advanced learner refining your fluency. Let’s embark on this adventure together. Vamos!

I took a few classes with Laura and I loved it. She is very nice and I felt very comfortable. She also makes the class very dynamic and teaches you how to pronounce the words correctly which I think is very important.
