About Faith
I've worked on a handful of short films (some are yet to be released!) such as "Enter Your Name", an animated surreal horror short allegorical to the challenges of being a pre-transgender person in the deep south. It's on YouTube right now, check it out! Also, I won't lie, I don't have much teaching/tutoring experience, but I am passionate about animation and feel that I have a very solid grasp of the basics in a way that others can understand and learn from! Everyone is welcome here, no matter what you may identify as or not, any and all hateful speech stops here! Everyone is to be respected! (also saying this just in case I get anyone's pronouns wrong, I promise I don't mean to, I just take a bit to remember)

I'll teach you the 12 principles of 2D animation, each with their own exercise as well as demonstrations. At the end, we'll come up with a short project that works to combine most, if not all, the principles. The way I understand how to animate is sort of through feel and touch; when animating, it helps to act out the motion you're wanting to achieve, no matter how cartoony, to understand it as if it was real in relation to yourself and the world around you. By being able to grasp this tactile element, I believe your ability to animate will skyrocket! I'm wanting my lessons to be more for beginners, but even if you have prior experience with animation, that just means I can help you tackle even more complicated animations!
