About Tessa
I am originally from northeast Ohio! I was always very involved in highschool between sports and student body vice president, and everything in between. I understand the stressors of juggling school, friend groups, and sports. I had the opportunity to attend the Ohio State University and graduate with a finance degree in 2019. My time at OSU changed my life, and I would love for each and every student to have the opportunity to go to their dream school!
I now work in the mortgage industry (which I love) which has allowed me to use my love of math with my passion to help people. I now get to use math every day!

Typical lesson plan:
- warm up/ice breaker (>5 minutes): tell me about your day!
- review since last lesson (10 minutes): let's review homework and tests. Where did you crush it and where is there a little room for improvement?
- development & practice (15 minutes): we dive into current curriculum and prepare for coming assignments
- recap & review: teach it to me in your own words!
