As a tutor, my approach is rooted in clarity, patience, and critical thinking. I believe that true understanding goes beyond memorization—it requires making connections, asking questions, and engaging with the material on a deeper level. My teaching method is highly adaptable to each student’s learning style, whether they need step-by-step explanations, visual aids, discussion-based learning, or help breaking down complex texts. I use Socratic questioning to encourage critical reflection and independent thinking, especially in subjects like political science, philosophy, and biblical studies.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused deep-dive into the current topic. We’ll clarify key concepts, apply them through examples or exercises, and finish with a summary and plan for next steps. For writing, I guide students through structure, argument development, and clarity, helping them become confident and persuasive communicators. For guitar lessons, I balance technique, theory, and creativity, tailored to the student’s goals and level.
What sets me apart is my interdisciplinary background—holding a degree in Political Studies with minors in History and Biblical Studies from The Master’s University—and my ability to bridge academic subjects in a way that makes learning engaging and relevant. I don’t just help students pass their classes; I aim to develop their curiosity and confidence across disciplines.
My lessons are ideal for high school and college students, homeschooled learners, adult learners returning to study, and anyone preparing for exams or needing support in writing-intensive subjects. Whether you're a beginner in guitar or tackling advanced philosophical texts, I offer a personalized path toward your academic and personal learning goals.
