About Emily
I have tutored many students, mainly ages 5-11, and currently work in middle schools throughout the area as a substitute teacher. I am trained in using the following intervention programs: Road to Reading, and Equipped for Reading Success: A Comprehensive, Step-By-Step Program for Developing Phonemic Awareness and Fluent Word Recognition. When paired together, I have found these programs to be remarkably successful in getting at risk learners well on their way to reaching benchmark standards, as well as building up reading and writing confidence.
