About Kenny
My degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago is in studio arts and art history. Outside of teaching I am a freelance artist and journalist. My goal is to share my experience in the art world in a way where students can have fun creating the art that calls to them as well as setting them up for success!

Drawing and painting exercises, portfolio building, and large project planning are the basis of my lessons. I teach at a high school level curriculum. I help students understand the fundamentals of their chosen medium so they have the skills to discover their style and what drives them to create. My experience working in the gallery and art market scenes will help students prepare to apply for similar events. I teach to prepare students to work and be successful in the art world.
