About Nicholas
I have worked as a teacher in a wide variety of classroom settings, teaching everything from AP and Honors courses to classes that require additional support and reinforcement. While I enjoy working with students at all levels, some of my most rewarding experiences have come from helping students who need a little extra time and guidance to build their understanding.
One of the best parts of teaching is seeing the “lightbulb moment” when a concept finally clicks. By slowing down the pace, breaking ideas into manageable steps, and focusing on understanding rather than simply getting the right answer, students are able to develop both their skills and their confidence.
My goal during tutoring sessions is to reduce the stress and frustration that can sometimes accompany math. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and working through challenges. Together, we will focus on strengthening key skills while making the learning process feel approachable, manageable, and successful.

My tutoring sessions are tailored to each student’s individual needs, with a focus on meeting them where they are in their mathematical journey. The goal is to build confidence and deepen understanding by connecting new concepts to skills and knowledge the student already possesses. Repetition and consistent practice play an important role in reinforcing key ideas and developing long-term retention. Sessions are paced according to the student’s needs, allowing us to slow down when necessary to ensure a strong foundation and meaningful understanding of each concept before moving forward
