About Samuel
I am a recent graduate of The George Washington University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a focus on Latin America and Development. During university, I studied and worked with students in Chile, focusing on school subjects and overall assimilation. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish Literature, and Culture. In my experience helping struggling students learn a language, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) in terms of speaking and comprehension. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, soccer, hiking, and cooking.

I like to focus on speaking and fluency. I like my students to be driven but I understand that languages are hard so I always come with compassion. A typical lesson plan will begin and end with spoken Spanish while supplementing in whatever the student wants to work on. Having taught myself I and fulfilled university language requirementsI am able to teach at any level/intensity desired.
