About Surekha
I have currently taken a year off to focus on my health and to gain more experience for my aspiring postgraduate.
When I previously started tutoring I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it, every lesson is different and every student is different and seeing the difference in the way they improve from the start till the end is more rewarding than I could imagine. This was what actually helped me realise I wanted to specialise in educational psychology for my postgraduate.
Doing this will help me gain the work experience and financial support that is required whilst helping other young people with knowledge I wish I had at that time.

As a Graduate BSc in psychology my primary specialisation is in teaching psychology. I already have experience tutoring A level psychology students and can support with -quantitative and qualitative methods, -statistics, -essay and lit review writing, -dissertation, -knowledge understanding ranging from GCSE, to A level, to university level.
I also teach at GCSE level: History, Maths, biology, chemistry, physics, psychology. At A level: biology, sociology and psychology.
I also teach KS1, KS2 and KS3 and I also offer lessons to aid children with their reading and literacy.
I have experience working with children in a primary school, during my degree I have studied child language with training of the Wechsler IQ test focusing on children with Autism. I have experience already working as a tutor so I have a range of experience working with children and young adults of all ages. I am also undergoing a level 2 TQUK for learning disabilities to further my knowledge and have a CPD in children and young people's mental health with safeguarding training provided by PAPYRUS organised by my University.
What separates me from other tutors is my essential focus on tailored learning. Every student will not experience the same thing they will be assessed on their strengths and weaknesses alongside their exam board, and the lessons will be altered accordingly to best suit the student with their input especially valuable to do the best they can.
KS1,2,3: £15 per hour
GCSE: £20 per hour
A LEVEL: £25 per hour
I also offer £5 for 30-40 min Q&A session regarding primary and secondary school education, GCSE, A level, university advice etc if that is what you prefer.

KS1,2,3, reading and literacy support: £15 per hour
GCSE: £20 per hour
A LEVEL: £25 per hour

I also offer £5 for 30-40 min Q&A session regarding primary and secondary school education, GCSE, A level, university advice, advice in general etc if that is what you prefer.
There is a 30 min free introduction lesson to see if the student vibes well with me as every student is different and to discuss what they are struggling with, availability etc :D
I am available Mon- Sun from 12pm -8pm, morning lessons are subject to availability so there is lots of flexibility :D
Policy:
Once paid in advance lessons cannot be refunded but can be rescheduled.
If there is no advance notice 24 hr prior to the lesson being missed then rescheduling will be available for a maximum of twice, if missed both times with no advance notice than the missed lesson will no longer be rescheduled and no refunds will be permitted, this is to protect my time and effort preparing the lesson.
