About Jessica
Jess grew up in a musical family, surrounded by musicians and music teachers from an early age. Although she was never pushed to pursue music professionally, she naturally found her own path through a lifelong passion for singing.
After moving from country Victoria to Melbourne to study music at Box Hill Institute, Jess began building a career as both a performer and teacher. Since 2015, she has been sharing her love of music through regular teaching, live performance, and songwriting.
As a performer, Jess has enjoyed a diverse career across original music, touring, and live entertainment. In 2025, she released her debut album, Skylark, showcasing her work as a songwriter and recording artist. From 2022 to 2025, she toured Australia portraying Stevie Nicks in a Fleetwood Mac tribute production, developing extensive stage experience performing to audiences around the country. She also performs as guitarist and backing vocalist for Ruby Jones, regularly busks at Melbourne farmers' markets, and appears at corporate and private events as a covers artist.
Jess brings this broad range of real-world performance experience into every lesson. Whether helping students develop vocal technique, build confidence, write original songs, or prepare for live performance, she is passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring environment where every student can grow. Her genuine love of music, combined with years of professional experience, allows her to equip students with practical skills, creative confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for making music.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Jess tailors every lesson to each student's individual goals, whether that's building confidence, developing healthy vocal technique, preparing for exams and auditions, or exploring creative expression.
An experienced performer, Jess regularly performs at both creative and corporate events, bringing real-world industry experience into every lesson. She specialises in contemporary vocal technique, helping students develop a healthy, versatile voice across a range of styles. Her teaching covers all vocal tones and skills including twang, belt, vocal agility, breath control, resonance, tone development, music theory, and expressive performance, equipping students with the technical skills and artistic confidence to perform at their best.
Jess is passionate about creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students of all ages and experience levels feel empowered to develop their unique voice, achieve their goals, and enjoy the journey of making music.

Jess changed my voice and my confidence completely in such an amazing way. I went from not being able to sing high notes without straining, to learning how to utilise twang to get there. I learnt how to have flexible vocal cords, and how to belt but also sing softly. Jess has such a comforting presence and I knew that I was always allowed to mess up and “fail” and she would be there with enough knowledge about vocal anatomy and technique to help me identify the issue. Jess is born to be a voice teacher and helped me to become the singer I am today.
I started singing lessons with Jess over covid and continued for 3 years. She was always so kind and enthusiastic about music. She always encouraged me and pushed me to my goals and I am forever grateful to have had an incredible experience with her. She always shows up and is excited to help you learn. She is such a great role model for kids and young people alike. Anyone would be more than lucky to have Jess as their teacher.
