About Andrew
Andy graduated from Solent University with a BA in Popular Music in 2020. Although open to all genres, Andy's main experience lies in Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul and Alternative genres.
University has provided Andy with experience in writing, recording and gigging live with various styles of Popular Music on the Guitar and Bass-guitar. In his spare time, he teaches students privately, both in person and online.
Bands and artists Andy has worked with include Winstonn Alla, Marshall Kings, Penn, Elina Lowe and Beth Williams & The Sunset Haze.

Teaching to me is all about adjusting to the level of the student and filling them with confidence. I like to have a phone consultation first to learn more about the student, what music they like and how much experience they have.
Together, we will work on improving your ability on the bass-guitar through any means so that you can express yourself with ease. I can help you to develop your Timing, Technique, Musicality, Ear training, Chord knowledge, Improvisational skills and where necessary, Music Theory. We will discuss your personal goals first, and then focus on achieving them with both our time together, and your own practice time.
Together, we can make you the Bassist you want to be.
