I believe that "if I myself is enthusiastic about my topic, students will recognize this and often be interested and enthusiastic towards the topic". I opt to go with videos for better understanding and to deliver the students a different methods of solution to the problem so they can choose a better method for them.
My method of teaching is with chalk and board and using ppt with videos
