About Blanka
Hi! I’m a Grade 12 student with a passion for writing and reading. I’ve been entering writing contests for a while and am working on getting a few of my short stories published. In my free time, I’m usually reading or writing my own stories. I’ve also had the chance to help two students prepare for the IELTS, and both of them scored 7.5. I love sharing what I’ve learned and making lessons feel personal and relaxed. I believe learning should be interesting and fun, so I always try to bring that into my sessions. I have experience working with students from elementary to high school, helping with everything from essay writing and creative writing to SAT and provincial exam prep—or anything else they need! I tailor each lesson to the student, making sure they understand the material in a way that works for them.
A typical lesson could include a quick warm-up, focused work on reading, writing, or test strategies, and time for guided practice and feedback. I share study techniques that helped me maintain a 95% average, along with effective methods I’ve learned from supporting my brother with ADHD.
I also speak Hungarian, so I can help bilingual students who might need explanations in both languages. My goal is to make learning engaging, practical, and stress-free while giving students the tools to succeed.
