My teaching approach is structured, student-centred, and results-focused. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths, learning style, and areas of difficulty, then tailor lessons accordingly.
Typical Lesson Plan:
- Quick review of previous material and clarification of any questions
- Introduction of new concepts using clear explanations and step-by-step methods
- Guided practice, where we work through problems together
- Independent practice, allowing students to apply the concept on their own with support
- Summary and next steps, including study tips or practice questions for continued improvement
As a high-achieving Grade 12 student, I understand both the academic content and the pressures students face today. I am familiar with current Ontario curriculum expectations, exam formats, and effective study strategies.
