About Philiswa
Hello! My name is Philiswa, and I am a passionate tutor specializing in Mathematical Literacy for Grades 10-12. I am a Grade 12 graduate with impressive marks and served as Head Girl at my school, demonstrating leadership, responsibility, and dedication. I started my university studies at Stellenbosch University before transferring to UKZN, where I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Social Sciences in Geography and Environmental Management. My academic journey has strengthened my analytical skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly. I offer student-centered, step-by-step lessons designed to boost confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and achieve better exam results. I teach in English and isiZulu and create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I am proficient in English and isiZulu, and I am comfortable teaching in both languages to make lessons more accessible and engaging.

My lessons are aimed at Grade 10 to 12 students who want to strengthen their Mathematical Literacy skills, whether they are working toward passing with confidence or aiming for higher results.
