About Sofie
I’m currently at the MA Music Theatre (Acting) course at CSSD and my way to drama school was a bumpy one. I’m a trained actress as well as dancer and singer and I love to teach and pass on my experiences.

Acting can be a very subjective craft and I therefore meet every person where they are. We can focus on the things that worry you as an individual be it confidence, line learning or emotional understanding of the text. I come from a meisner based background and I focus a lot on setting objectives and what it means to understand what surrounds a text. But it’s just as important for me that a student gets to know their instrument and becomes more free without the text.

Sofie is a very open and wonderful person and one of the most talented actors I’ve ever known (and still do!). As a performer, she is incredibly hard working and very real and it shines through her work and makes her super relatable. As a person, she is down to earth and very kind and she’s always up for a good laugh. The perfect combination if you want to really work on yourself and advance as a performer while doing it with the help of a tutor who will make you feel safe and have fun while you work! Can not recommend her enough ️
