About Jasmine
I'm currently a second year undergraduate student at the University of Bristol who is studying Politics and German for my Bachelors' Degree. In September of this year, I will be moving to Germany for my year abroad, to further increase my learning and understanding of the language. Having studied German for the past 7 years, I am highly passionate about both the language, as well as the culture and history which accompanies it. During my school career, I achieved an A* at both GCSE and A-level in this subject, and I'm now looking to pass on what I have learnt to other passionate students, as well as to meet others as interested in the subject as myself!
With regards to lessons, I am very flexible around my own timetable as a student, and particularly during the pandemic, I am currently seeking to host online lessons.

With lessons lasting upwards of 30 minutes, we will cover any and all aspects of German that you may be looking to improve on. Generally speaking, lessons will have a specific focus to begin with in depth, (e.g., a particular element of grammar), which will be pre-determined at the end of the previous lesson and then we will practice incorporating new skills learnt into other elements of the German language, such as speaking, listening and writing.
As a student myself, I understand the frustration of all the technicalities of learning German, so we will focus on reinforcing your understanding of different elements of the language, and how to use these in practice too!
I'm currently seeking to tutor German at GCSE level or below, or anyone who feels as though they are studying at ab initio German for all ages!
