About Melanie
I have lived over ten years in the UK and worked in Export to Europe and specifically to Germany. Translation was part of my daily bread and parallel I started tutoring. I realised how much I enjoy giving others access to my mother tongue but also understand it takes time.

Perfect! I was searching for a native German tutor who can help me to speak more naturally, and improve my vocab. Melanie is very polite and understanding teacher who listens to what you need and adapts your lessons to suit. I am learning a lot with Melanie and will continue lessons with her! Currently on my 6th lesson.
Perfect! Melanie has been very helpful for me (as well as very friendly and welcoming). We've been practicing conversational German, building interesting German sentences together. She corrects me when I make mistakes and offers simplifications/other suggestions to help me develop. Furthermore, she was proactive in suggesting things to read/do outside of German class to improve. I will continue to meet with Melanie.

Melanie gives real value for money as she goes the extra mile with her enthusiasm and the mix of content she provides to stimulate learning. I wanted a very conversational approach to speak with my in-laws as my daughter married a german, so she stretches me by running the lesson largely in german to develop my ear for it. She is a natural teacher.
I really enjoyed my lessons with her. She is a native German speaker, very patient, and created a comfortable space to practice speaking. Since my main goal was to improve my conversational German, I appreciated that she focused on dialogue and real life communication, which helped me gain more confidence when speaking.
