About Aman
I am a current A Level German student who tutors for German GCSE and for non-academic purposes also.
As a student greatly affected by COVID, I know how difficult plugging knowledge gaps can be without guidance. That's why I am doing these sessions. So others who need help to boost their grade or language skills are able to get help from someone who knows the German GCSE structure well.
Another thing that greatly affected my studies is my mild ADHD. I am therefore very understanding of students with learning differences and am more than happy to accommodate and adjust my teaching style according to the student's specific needs.
I have experience tutoring schoolmates, friends and family in German for both academic purposes and for holidays.

I combine a proactive learning approach specific to the student with a laid back sense of humour to tutor students. The great thing about having a tutor is that you can have the confidence to ask the questions you may not want to ask in class. Or the questions you can't ask a languages app such as Duolingo.
Having studied German (Higher) at GCSE and achieving a Grade 9, I know the ins and outs of the mark schemes and what the examiner is looking for in your work to tick the boxes. As a non-native German speaker, I also know how daunting it can be to ask questions, particularly when there are German native speakers in your class.
If you're looking to learn German for non-academic purposes, I can help you too! I am well versed in teaching people German for holidays and work, having done so recently for family members and family friends. I am more than happy to help you navigate a new language to make a holiday more enjoyable or a business trip a lot easier.
In my sessions, we'll work on areas of particular weakness, whilst also consolidating what you're good at. I encourage you to ask as many questions as you have. When learning a new language especially, asking questions as to why certain things are the way they are is the key to understanding the language.
