About Sienna
I have over 9 years of tutoring experience and hold a MSc in Operations Research. My teaching focuses on quantitative reasoning and its role in finance. Students learn to master concepts like compound interest, investment growth, and risk strategies. I use real-world examples to connect mathematics with business outcomes. Financial modeling is a big part of my lessons, making theory practical. I also emphasize visual tools like charts and graphs to simplify analysis. Students are encouraged to think critically and logically. Lessons are structured to build confidence and accuracy. I provide consistent feedback to guide progress step by step. Many learners find my case-based approach refreshing. Mathematics is more than numbers—it’s a way to understand choices. Let’s work together to discover its role in finance and decision-making.

A structured approach defines my teaching method in mathematics. Algebra is the entry point, helping learners understand functions and equations. From there, I guide them through calculus, introducing differentiation and integration in clear steps. Geometry builds logical thinking, with proofs and diagrams at the core of lessons. Probability and statistics make mathematics relevant, connecting numbers to real-life predictions. Lessons are planned to move from simple to complex smoothly. I encourage learners to ask questions and think critically. Future Actuaries and Problem Solvers receive lessons tailored to accuracy and clarity. Practice exercises are used to strengthen understanding. Regular feedback highlights both achievements and challenges. I emphasize efficiency without sacrificing accuracy. With this approach, learners gain both knowledge and confidence in mathematics.
