About Lucy
I have a degree in Geography and have extensive experience of working with young people in schools, nurseries, youth groups and Girl Guides/Rainbows all around the world!
I have learnt that working with school children is about more than just reciting content. I will help my students improve by connecting with every pupil on a personal level and will inspire, motivate and encourage all pupils I work with. As well as imparting knowledge, I strive to support not only their education but also their confidence and personal development.

Every learner has different learning needs. When I was a school pupil I found that interactive, visual and logical learning worked best for me and I used techniques such as breaking things down into diagrams and bullet formats to support my learning needs.
As a tutor I will structure my lessons based on what works best for each individual student. Everyone has their own learning style and I will adapt accordingly using my excellent organisational and communication skills.

I have known Lucy for 8 years and she is one of the most loyal and wonderful people I know. She is incredibly organised and will go above and beyond to get a job done. I could not recommend her highly enough!
Lucy is a very organised and dedicated person and tutor. She is very knowledgable of the subject and enjoys relaying this to her pupils. Lucy uses varying techniques to help the pupils understand the subject content. She is very personable and a tutor you can trust to help your child.
Lucy is a caring, down to earth and a dedicated tutor, with an undergraduate degree in Geography MA (Hons) and a Post graduate degree in Social Research MSc. Lucy has tutoring experience with a range of ages and class sizes, tailoring the lesson to the needs and ability of the participants. Lucy is well equipped to tutor and having known her for 9 years I would recommend her to anyone.
