About Katie
I am originally from York in the UK but I moved to Manchester to study Geography at the University of Manchester in 2007 and made it my home. I love this city and the fact I can see Geography in action everywhere. I am passionate about sustainability issues and have a strict waste policy in my house!
I am also really interested in music and I love going to Glastonbury Festival every year where I paint the bins before the festival starts. I love to travel and I have been to most of Europe and a lot of Asia. I lived in South Korea for one year teaching English before moving onto Australia where I did a lot of scuba diving and reef conservation.
I am now enjoying being home in Manchester, Tutoring and working in Project Management while also looking after my garden and writing articles for my blog.
