About Lyra
As an experienced ESL tutor with 8 years of hands-on teaching practice, I have helped over 150 students develop strong English communication skills across all levels. I use interactive strategies such as role-playing, conversation drills, listening practice, grammar application, and vocabulary exercises to strengthen all language skills. Empathy and compassion help me connect with students emotionally and understand their learning challenges. I provide constant encouragement and positive feedback so learners feel safe to make mistakes and improve. Through clear communication, I ensure that explanations are easy to understand and concepts are applied practically. Collaboration is central to my teaching. Students actively participate in goal setting, practice sessions, and progress reviews. In addition to ESL, I also support learners with spoken English, interview communication, public speaking basics, and academic language skills. My goal is to help students develop lifelong confidence in using English.
