About Mike
My name is Mike, and I graduated in Dentistry in 1991 In Liverpool.
I initially worked in the hospital service - Maxillofacial Units including Alder Hay Children's Unit.
I then moved into General Practice, NHS for 11 years, and then fully private practice for 20 years, so I have knowledge of both systems.
I have worked in the dento-legal field and been a dental nurse examiner.
I was working clinically until summer of 2024 when a spontaneous retinal detachment left me blind in one eye and ended my career.
My patients have encouraged me to move into Teaching and Tutoring which I absolutely love!

As a father of a recent university graduate and one who is doing A-levels, I can appreciate your worries and concerns.
As an experienced clinician I can happily discuss a huge range of dental topics.
My qualifications are BDS(Hons), DipMFGDP(UK), MCGDent, MFDS.
I am also at present studying for a coaching and mentoring diploma.
