About Adam
I have a Bachelor of Arts (English) and began freelance writing soon after finishing school. I worked as a copywriter, scriptwriter, writer of music articles and reviews, as well as writing and producing for radio.
For about 10 years, while still freelance writing, I was also working full-time at, Canada's largest private language school, teaching English as a second language. I taught students of many different nationalities at all skill levels in virtually every course the school offered, with my specialty being upper-level business English and one-on-one tutoring of business executives, from companies such as BMW, Nike, and Swiss Telecom. Along with teaching, I was sometimes called upon to write marketing materials and curricula for the school as well as run the business department of 14 students when my director took leave.
In addition to my writing and teaching, I am also a musician, actor, voice over artist, and brewer (I had a commercial beer brand and London’s smallest brewery for the last several years). I am very well-read have a fairly broad knowledge on quite a few subjects including the arts, technology, general culture, and current events.
I am also fun, friendly, outgoing, and professional.

My teaching method is very much based on the personality and needs of the student. Some students prefer a disciplined approach with lots of rules and formality, whereas others need more practical learning and freedom and flexibility in their lessons.
