About Kishan
I am a dedicated and experienced tutor specialising in GCSE Maths, with a strong focus on algebra and statistics.
I work with both school students and home-educated learners, and I understand that every student learns differently. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each individual, helping students build confidence as well as achieve strong academic results.
I particularly enjoy supporting home-educated students, as it allows for a more personalised and flexible learning experience. I am available during the day (9am–9pm), which fits well with home education schedules and allows students to learn at their best time.
My goal is not just to help students pass exams, but to ensure they genuinely understand the material and feel confident tackling problems independently.
I create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step.
Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for higher grades, I adapt my teaching style to help them reach their full potential.

I offer structured, supportive online lessons for all students from Primary school to students working towards GCSE Maths, with a strong focus on algebra and statistics.
My lessons are ideal for both school students and home-educated learners, particularly those who benefit from daytime learning (9am–3pm availability).
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals. We typically begin with a quick recap, followed by clear explanations of new topics, guided practice, and exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy.
I place a strong emphasis on:
• Understanding concepts (not just memorising methods)
• Building confidence step by step
• Developing exam technique for GCSE success
For home-educated students, I can provide a more structured learning pathway, helping to cover the full syllabus over time and track progress.
Lessons are 1 hour long, interactive and paced to suit the student, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions in a supportive environment.
A free initial session is available to discuss goals and assess the student’s level.
