GCSE and KS3 maths and science, A-level Physics and Biology

Andrew completed his final placement of his PGCE year at Bexley Grammar School with me as his mentor. He was a positive addition to both the Science department and positively contributed to the ethos of the school. He was well respected amongst staff within department and across the school. From the very start of his placement, Andrew showed an aptitude for self-reflection in order to continually develop his pedagogical practice. Over the three months of placement he was willing to learn, plan and teach lessons that he had not done before. He showed considerable improvement in his delivery of content and in his use of structuring pupil led lessons. Any behavioural concerns that arose within lessons were dealt with in a prompt and professional manner. Andrew showed that he was hard working and approached every new challenge with ambition. I can say with confidence that I recommend him high highly for a position in the teaching and delivery of content to pupils.
