About Kalynn

- I have been a teacher for over 15 years in 3 different countries: Brazil, South Korea, and Japan.
- I have work experience in an international bilingual preschool and kindergarten in Japan, and also in after-school extracurricular English learning programs from elementary to junior high / middle school. I have also taught English in a Japanese high school setting to classrooms of up to 40 students.
- Currently in Japan, I mainly work as a private freelance ESL tutor for both children and adults (I have taught all ages and levels).
- I am multilingual: I can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, and basic Korean.

About the lesson

- I first learned origami when I was in elementary school, and I love crafting in general!
- As an experienced ESL tutor, we can learn new languages and vocabulary while having fun.
- I am happy to choose an age-appropriate craft for your level, from simple to complex.
- Children of all ages are welcome, but my classes are open to adults as well!

Kalynn is a very professional tutor with many years of experience. I love how she truly takes the time to get to know me, and customizes our lessons based on my interests and with easy to remember, practical examples.

She is very friendly and easy to talk to. Her lessons are always interesting, because she knows a lot about many different topics! She also explains things clearly when I don't understand something and gently corrects my mistakes.

We don't just follow a textbook, but we often talk about things that are actually happening in my life. I have become much more confident in English and I really enjoy our lessons!
