About Elle
I have a foundation degree in Art & Design, and a BA Hons in Fashion/Textile Design
I'm a friendly and approachable mum of two, with experience in Art/Design/Textiles, I have spent a few years bringing up my children and starting up an illustration business. I love to be outdoors, inspired mainly by nature but I think everyone has a very unique way of expressing themselves through creative practises, I am very open-minded and enjoy finding new techniques/ways of creating.

I would adapt to meet the students needs in the sessions, what ever your level I can provide a fun, relaxed but productive environment for you to freely discuss, create and push your work,
I am able to help with practical skills with sewing/embroidery and use techniques to inspire more of a journey from ideas to final projects, I also felt so can teach methods to create more interesting textiles/surfaces
I use a mixture of watercolour, collage and mark making in my own work and can encourage students to explore how they view interesting objects, lots of fun creating textures/shapes, get as messy or detailed as you like you decide,
I can help improve skills on Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, creating digital files and repeat patterns etc
Also I can provide support and encouragement to complete coursework or sketchbooks
For kids I can provide a way for them to create in a very natural way, I love providing my own two with inspiration and a range of materials to create their own art, using everything from handmade paintbrushes to air dry clay, collage and printing.
