About Kara
Hi, I’m Kara! I’m a friendly, creative, and supportive tutor offering lessons in English, Drama, and Musical Theater. I recently graduated from performing arts training and have experience in dance, acting, performance, and collaborative creative environments, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of personalities and learning styles.
I’m passionate about helping students grow both creatively and academically in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Whether we’re working on English assignments, creative writing, public speaking, audition prep, acting, or musical theater performance skills, I aim to make lessons engaging, personalized, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence and improve at their own pace.

My drama and musical theatre lessons are focused on building confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. With training in performing arts and experience in acting, dance, and performance-based settings, I understand how important it is for students to feel comfortable taking creative risks and expressing themselves.
Lessons can include acting techniques, character work, script analysis, audition preparation, vocal confidence, performance skills, improvisation, and musical theatre coaching, depending on each student’s goals and experience level. I tailor lessons to suit the individual, whether they’re completely new to performing, preparing for auditions, or simply wanting to grow their confidence and creativity while having fun.
