About Amy
I have done music my entire life. To be honest, I hated practicing growing up! I wanted to change that for my students. I started out by teaching my little brother. We had a blast! Lessons included anything from nerf guns to cupcakes to mummies! All of these fun things built up his love around music. We tried different kinds of music and found cool ways to practice technique. I have a lot of experience and I’m excited to help more people learn!!

I love tailoring lessons and motivational programs to each individual child. It’s so fun to see kids learn and begin to love the learning. I am fun, kind and energetic and I’m excited to teach!
I’ve taught violin and piano for over five years. I taught kids ages 5-15. I typically like to create a motivational program for the child, and discuss with them and their parents what their goals are. From there, lessons can be 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your preference!
