About Maxine
Hello! I'm Maxine, but you can call me Teacher Max! I'm a 3rd year degree student in Environmental Biology, and I believe in everyone's ability to learn in things that interest them!
I love painting, reading novels and watching dramas in my spare time! I quite enjoy teaching, and it's my goal to make my students enjoy learning as well, even if the subject doesn't initially pique their interest. After all, if fungi can learn, so can you! (nerdy joke)
I suppose for credibility I must say this: I have over one year of teaching experience under my belt, and I'm a CGPA 3.9 student as of current, so I do know a thing or two about keeping the grades up. But remember, what's on paper isn't all that matters, it's what's in your heart as well!

Learning should be a balance of discipline and fun, and thus my lessons are so. I use interesting mnemonics like stories, activities, rhymes etc. to help students understand and engage in the lesson, but students are also expected to put in the effort to learn and do their work
Students will also learn techniques and strategies to understand and answer exam questions, ensuring good progress in their formal education
