About Mia
I'm a fully qualified science teacher with a degree in Chemistry from the University of Manchester and a PGCE in Secondary Chemistry. I’ve taught GCSE and A-level sciences across a range of schools, including grammar and comprehensive settings, and I’m currently teaching Cambridge iGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Combined Science at a British international school.

The free trial lesson will involve informal chat with the student and guardian to identify the students goals and desired outcomes from the sessions. This is followed by a short diagnostic task to assess the student’s current level. From there we’ll create a plan to build their scientific knowledge, with regular formative assessment throughout sessions to monitor progress.
