About Christopher
I graduated from university in Australia and later moved to live in London in the U.K. I have taught in many schools across London before I moved to teach in Asia for ten years. I really enjoy helping students achieve their learning outcomes and seeing the joy and pride this brings. I love teaching, travelling, swimming and exploring new countries and cultures.

I am a fully qualified primary teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree and over 25-years' classroom teaching experience. I have taught at schools here in the U.K. and also at top-tier international schools in Asia. I have worked with students from Year 1 to Year 6 and also taught adults.
I have worked for some top schools in Bangkok, Shanghai and Yangon that attract families with high aspirations for their children. I also have high expectations of what children can achieve and encourage all my students to be open-minded, think big and challenge themselves. I use a friendly, supportive approach, with plenty of time for discussion, practice, visual modelling, and IT to engage and make learning fun in every lesson.
My experience at London schools and internationally means I understand the specific needs of those with English as an additional language, and how to support EAL learners. I have extensive experience teaching: reading; comprehension; writing; spelling; pronunciation and grammar. My experience is of the English National Curriculum and methods used in U.K. schools.

I worked alongside Christopher for many years, both teaching children in an international primary school setting. It was an honor to work with an outstanding practitioner and see the care and passion he puts into his work to ensure the success of every child. I would highly recommend Christopher.
Christopher is a fantastic teacher who always taught with care, patience and compassion. He had an excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum, having taught across many age groups and settings. His knowledge and dedication makes him an excellent tutor who I would thoroughly recommend. I learnt so much from Chris working with him in top international schools around the world.
