About Victoria
I am a fully qualified and Teaching Council registered secondary school Math teacher with six years of classroom experience and over 10 years of experience providing Math grinds. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies from UCD and a Professional Master of Education (PME) from DCU.
I have experience tutoring students of all levels, from 6th class through to Higher Level Leaving Certificate, as well as university students and adults returning to education. I also specialize in supporting high-achieving Leaving Certificate students who are aiming for H1 and H2 grades. I help these students deepen their understanding, make connections between topics and push beyond what is covered in their school classes.
My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where every student can build confidence, strengthen their understanding and develop the skills to become more independent in Math.

I believe that everyone can be a Maths person. Every student has different strengths, experiences and levels of confidence, so I tailor my teaching to their individual needs. We can revisit the basics and take things as slowly as necessary, or move quickly through familiar topics and focus on more challenging material.
I provide personalised Maths grinds via Zoom for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, learning style and specific needs. I focus on building understanding and confidence through clear explanations, worked examples and plenty of exam-style practice. Lessons typically last 60 minutes. I use an iPad and Apple Pencil to write and demonstrate solutions clearly in real time. At the end of every class, students receive a PDF copy of all notes and worked examples, which they can re-access at any time for revision.
