About Madeleine
I am a qualified languages teacher and tutor. I studied languages at degree level and have spent many years living in French and Italian speaking countries. I used to work for the EU in Brussels. Following this I have been working as a French and Italian in UK secondary schools. I have always private tutored alongside my work and have seen excellent progress and results from my students.

My teaching methodology for languages is first and foremost about building confidence and creating an environment where my students feel comfortable and able to express themselves without fear of making mistakes. As a language teacher I encourage mistakes and use them as a springboard for teaching. I like to establish my student's individual needs and interests and I create an engaging course based on them.
