About Theresa
I have taught all grades from Kindergarten through 4th grade in a public school setting. My lessons all align with Common Core Standards and are backed by the latest research in the field. I believe in teaching through positive reinforcement and encouragement to help build students' confidence as well as their reading skills. We have a lot of fun while we are learning and students can't wait to come back again!

I'm a fully certified Special Education teacher and Reading Specialist with 25+ years of classroom experience teaching students with various learning needs such as ADHD, ASD, Social/Emotional disorders, Dyslexia, Communication Impairments and more. All lessons are multisensory in nature and follow Science of Reading research. Activities change frequently to keep students engaged and learning!
