About John
I've been performing professionally for the past 7 years, and teaching for the past 2 years.
I've taught over 100 students, most of whom continue onto becoming working Magicians.
My ultimate goal is to produce a better class of magcians, who are unique performers.
Alongside teaching tricks and methods, my course/lessons will teach you how to make a trick your own, how to work on your presentations, how to be yourself/how to create characters and ultimately become a well rounded performer sharing art with your audiences, big or small.

My approach is vastly different to a lot of Magicians trying to teach. I approach the subject from all angles, I teach simple tricks, I teach complex tricks, I teach the psychology behind routines, I teach how to create your own routines. How to use simple mechanics and sleight of hand alongside misdirection and psychology to create miracles but also how to use the hardest techniques and scripting to do the impossible.
Magic isn't just about tricks, I try and make each student unique, encouraging their own quirks and personalities to shine through into their performances. Thats why I also teach exercises that make you look at performing differently and find your own way of performing and expressing yourself through magic.

Perfect! John was very good, although my grandad hadn't practiced magic in a while he was very patient but kept the lesson detailed and interesting for the both of us.
