For a start, I always ask my students what their objective is and focus my classes around their interest.
Followed by a step by step guide on how to create 2 or 3 top platforms.
For e.g, if a student wants to learn web development we would start by learning his why before I begin teaching him how.
He or she would end up learning how to design a website using XD
Writing the HTML code
Setting up backend and debugging.
At the end of the class, my student should be able to create a perfect Facebook or twitter clone.
