About Chris

I’m a full-time full-stack developer with years of experience in software development, SQL and no-SQL database management, and cloud deployment. Over the years, I’ve worked on many projects, from building scalable web apps to managing cloud-based systems and data warehouses. I have expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, so I can guide you through every step of the software development process.

Along with my technical skills, my background as a behavioral counselor has given me a unique perspective on how people learn. This helps me tailor lessons to each individual, creating a patient, supportive, and encouraging environment. I understand that learning complex concepts can be tough, and I'm here to break them down and guide you with clear explanations and hands-on practice.

Whether you’re new to programming or looking to improve your skills, my goal is to help you understand not just *how* to code, but *why* things work the way they do. This approach will give you the confidence to solve problems and tackle new challenges. You’ll get real-world advice and a structured approach that helps you build a strong foundation for success in the tech industry.

I’m committed to your success and always aim to make learning enjoyable and engaging.

As a tutor, I focus on not just showing you how to solve problems, but also explaining why things work the way they do. I believe understanding the "why" behind the concepts helps you remember them better and master the material in the long run. My background as a behavioral counselor has helped me understand how people learn in different ways, allowing me to customize lessons to suit your needs and make complex ideas easier to understand.

In each lesson, we begin with the core concepts and then move into hands-on practice, where you'll apply what you've learned and develop problem-solving skills. We’ll focus on the logic and patterns that make programming work, helping you build a strong foundation for tackling more advanced topics later.

What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to different learning styles and give personalized, one-on-one support. Whether you're just starting with programming, working on a degree, or preparing for specific challenges, my lessons are designed to meet you where you are. With my background in counseling, I bring a patient and supportive approach, helping you stay motivated and build confidence along the way.

These lessons are for anyone, no matter your level—whether you're a beginner starting to code, an intermediate student tackling tougher topics, or someone aiming for specific academic or career goals.
