About Carmen
I came to the U.S. as an ESL student, so I understand firsthand how challenging—and exciting—it is to learn a new language. With a Master’s in TESOL, I now help adult learners gain confidence in English through practical, interactive lessons tailored to their goals. I love creating a supportive space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and try new things. Watching someone grow in their English and feel proud of their progress is what makes teaching so rewarding.

I love helping adult learners gain confidence in English! My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to your goals and level. We focus on real-life English for everyday situations and workplace success, with plenty of conversation practice, vocabulary, and clear grammar support. I create a welcoming environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and practice without pressure. Through role-plays and real-life scenarios, you’ll immediately apply what you learn. As a bilingual teacher who was once an ESL student, I’m passionate about guiding you every step of the way—and celebrating your progress with you!
