About Jo
Hi! I’m a university postgraduate from the North West of England and a native English speaker. Over the years, I’ve also dabbled in learning some Spanish, so I understand how challenging learning another language can sometimes feel. I want to help others through similar experiences by providing fun, relaxed and conversational lessons.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and love travelling with my family. My aim is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident learning at their own pace — exactly the kind of environment I would want for myself.

I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor offering supportive online lessons which I tailor to student’s individual goals and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence and helping students feel comfortable using English in real-life situations.
My lessons are relaxed and interactive, with a focus on conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary and everyday communication. I'm guided solely on the student and will listen to what you want to improve on.
My lessons will be structured around 60 minutes and may include conversation practice, guided exercises, pronunciation support and practical English activities. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students can learn at their own pace without feeling any pressure.
My lessons are suitable for adults, teenagers and younger learners who would like extra support with English, ESOL or conversational practice online.
