About Christelle
I am a French native speaker from St Etienne (near Lyon). I first came to the UK to do my Degree in Portsmouth. I liked it so much that I decided to stay and completed my PGCE in Newcastle.
Over the past 20 years, I have taught in the Independent sector, in states schools and as a private tutor, although I am new to "Superprof"!
My private tutoring has been to students preparing for examinations (GCSE, A Level and Degree level), but also to adults at all levels.
I am happy to provide testimonials and am DBS checked.
Home tutoring sessions will need to be discussed and confirmed first as travel expenses may be added.

For me learning a language is first of all about speaking the language, which can be the most daunting part (this is from my own experience!)
This is why I am a friendly and supportive tutor, I believe that students' progress is directly linked to self-confidence. I want learners to take risks and have a go!
I use a range of strategies and resources that work for you as an individual as we are all learning in different ways.
