About Jenna

Hello, I'm Jenna, and I am currently a second year student at the University of Bath studying French and Spanish with a focus on European studies. Having tutored younger students a little bit while I was doing my a-levels, I have decided to start doing it again as I really enjoyed helping students that may be struggling with languages to improve and have more confidence in themselves. I know at times languages can be quite hard from personal experience and that's why I want to try and help to resolve any misunderstandings/ confusion that someone might have. Lastly, I want the lessons to be a relaxed environment where a student would feel comfortable in telling me if they're confused or don't like the way in which I am teaching. Thank you for reading, and please contact me if you have any questions!

I think that in order for languages to be enjoyed and improved on, lessons must be interactive and most importantly fun. I would endeavour to tailor each lesson to the areas which the student would like to work on, which will be discussed prior to each lesson.
Furthermore, I used to tutor while I was doing my a-levels, and I found it really rewarding helping others to improve their languages and also trying to develop their interest in them!
My typical lesson would last for 1 hour to allow plenty of time to learn the content and then to put it into practice.
My lessons are targeted at GCSE level and below.
Thank you for reading, and please contact me if you have any questions!
