About Hlystan
I'm an ex-teacher who now works full time as a tutor because I prefer teaching one to one or in very small groups. I feel this enables me to focus on the needs of each child, spending as much time as needed before moving on to a new topic.

Teaching is my passion. I love learning and try to impart this to the children I teach. My ability to build a good rapport with children makes it easier to help them achieve their potential. I have several years' experience of teaching and tutoring. By equipping children with the tools and techniques they need, I enable them to work confidently and independently. I give children thorough explanations of concepts and lots of practice to consolidate their newly learnt skills. Please note: I do not offer free trial lessons.

My son (6y) is not a native English speaker. During we travelled in London, Hlystan taught him English for one month. She is a very nice teacher with patiently teaching and well organizing in course plan. She gave my son a lot supplements to enhance his study. My son got advance within very short time. Thank Hlystan a lot.
Hlystan tutored my son and daughter (in years 5 and 3) respectively for 2 years. She taught English and in Maths taught them strategies to solve problems for themselves. My children became more confident in their learning. My son moved up a set in maths, also my daughter moved a set in English and Maths. I am happy to recommend her as a tutor.
